Some of the best impromptu musical performances I’ve seen recently have occurred in guitar shops or even Walmart, when performers pick up a guitar and begin playing. In this video, 81-year-old Bob Wood walks into the British Audio Service guitar shop in Nashville and picks up one of the guitars on the rack to try out. And what a twist!

The video was filmed last year and has now gone viral. Bob, it turns out, is no stranger to music. He was a frequent performer at Jamboree USA in Wheeling, West Virginia, and has recorded multiple recordings throughout the course of his career. In 2007, he was inducted into the Southern Legends Country Music Hall of Fame.

Bob’s fingers appear to be rather agile on the guitar strings!

Share Bob’s talent with your friends and family!
